How to Tell Her You Love Her

Telling her "I love you" is an important step in building intimacy in a relationship. There are different ways of going about it, but you should always make sure that you mean it before you say it to your girlfriend. Never say it just because you think it's what she wants to hear, say it only if you mean it.

Instructions

  • 1 ¬ Think about when and where you want to tell her. Is there a special place you want to be? A certain day? For example, you might want to tell her at the restaurant where you went on your first date, or on the two-month or nine-month anniversary of your first date.

  • 2 ¬ Set the mood and be romantic. Buy her flowers or a romantic gift.

  • 3 ¬ Look at her directly, take her hand and tell her how positive you feel about her. Give her examples of things you really like about her. Be sincere.

  • 4 ¬ Tell her how you feel being with her, and how much you enjoy your time together. Be specific about what you value and appreciate about being with her.

  • 5 ¬ Follow these positive statements with telling her you love her in whatever way feels best for you. For example: "I feel I've come to love you," "I realize I love you," "I feel so much love for you," "I've fallen in love with you," or simply, "I love you."

    1. This didn't happen to me, but it's a true story which I can share with you coz my mate won't find out I posted here.

Middle of hardcore sex, mate didn't specify position except that they were face to face.

      She - Fuck me harder!
      He - I love you!
She then starts to cry and goes on crying for half an hour since she felt like a whore...

Also, as per advice you gave, remove the flower and any romantic present and go for whipped cream or chocolate syrup to be near. Better seal the deal with some real chemistry as well ;)

    8. Some girls aren't needy... But I guess, if you're gonna do it, do it right. Sometimes I feel like people try too hard as well though. So there is a definite balance that needs to be found.

(Sometimes trying too hard can be cute, though!)

    9. I tell girls I love them all the time. How else do you get them to sleep with you

    10. Good advice, I should put this into practice, only one problem... I should find myself a girl first!

    11. I will use this information. someday.

    12. If you have a girl with low self esteem then you really shouldn't say it first. She'll desperately cling to you with her every fiber. Instead just wait for her to say it and then nonchalantly agree.

    13. "Never say it just because you think it's what she wants to hear, say it only if you mean it."

So true...it can get very messy otherwise

    22. I think it wouldnt be that hard to say I love you. Just find somewhere that means something to you, make it romantic and say it. But make sure you leave the best place open for a proposal. Lol.

    29. The real rule is that there aren't rules. When we play in the emotional field the only thing to do is just follow you body and stop thinking.

    33. I like this post. So many people who just get into a relationship overuse "i love you." I think its pretty dumb to be honest.

      ReplyDelete
    34. I never say "I love you." Whenever my woman asks me something stupid like, "Do you love me?" I respond with "I'm here, aren't I?" As you can see, I probably don't watch enough Oprah.
